MBBS, MS, FRCS, DNB: Dr. Sanjay Rao completed his basic surgical and specialist Pediatric Surgical training from Bombay in 1997. He has had an excellent academic record, securing numerous awards and citations at every stage of his training. He has had advanced training in Australia, UK and USA.

- He was a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital in the UK prior to joining Narayana Health.
- He is a part of the transplantation team at Narayana and also runs the pediatric airway reconstruction programs.
- He is involved in Pediatric Surgical training programs and skills training in Laparoscopic surgery.
